Clara Mittiga – Child & Adolescent Psychologist at Davies and Robertson Psychology, also works at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). She holds a Master in Psychology (Clinical) and has previous experience working as a psychologist in schools with the Department of Education and Child Development (DECD) and as a Research and Evaluation Officer.

Clara is passionate about helping young people overcome challenges and develop resiliency. Clara brings an open and curious mind to understanding a child’s perspective and situation. She is sensitive to a child’s developmental stage, likes and dislikes, and unique family dynamics. Clara uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Circle of Security Parenting Intervention and Attachment Focused Family Therapy. She also teaches strategies such as progressive muscle relaxation, social skills and emotion regulation techniques.

By creating a safe, calm, fun and trusting environment, young people are open to, and even look forward to, learning and growing through therapy. Clara works with children and adolescents who have the following concerns:
